Seven Days of Spells

Did you know that each day of the week holds certain energies that we can tap into? Just like crystals, herbs, and moon phases, days of the week are considered correspondences, too. Learning about their energies is helpful with spellcrafting, daily magic, and connection to celestial bodies. So without further ado, here are seven easy spells you can try throughout the week.

Monday

Mondays are associated with the feminine energy and the moon. This day is ideal for connecting with the divine feminine, intuition, and emotional healing.

Our spell for Monday is called Invoking the Goddess. It’s a simple candle and invocation, and it’s best done in the evening when you can see the moon. All you need is a silver candle and a lighter. Simply light the candle and say the following:

Goddess of the stars, moon, earth, and sea
Enter this space and be present with me

Let the candle burn for as long as it is safe.

Mondays are also good for clairvoyance, divination, astral travel, consecrations, initiations, hearthcrafting, full moon magic, and spirit animal work. Correspondences for Monday include jasmine, gardenia, moonstone, and carnelian.

Tuesday

Tuesdays are linked to the planet Mars and are associated with courage and strength. If there were ever a day to call on your warrior within, it’s a Tuesday.

The Tuesday spell is called A Spell for Strength. It’s as simple as throwing a crystal in your pocket, but combining this crystal with Tuesday energy is why it works so well.

Place a piece of red jasper in your pocket. It’s a grounding stone that can enhance physical strength and vitality, and it gives you somewhere to store feelings of aggression so that you can move forward with assertiveness and strength.

Don’t forget to give it a good cleanse when you get home!

Tuesdays are also good for energy work, protection spells, sex magic, business witchcraft, garden magic, and passion spells. Correspondences for Tuesday include sage, clove, amethyst, and lepidolite.

Wednesday

Wednesdays are associated with communication and Mercury, making it a suitable day for activities that involve self-expression and creativity.

Wednesday’s magic is our Creativity Cauldron Burn. The best thing about cauldron burns is they smell amazing and can create a magical atmosphere quickly, the smoke carrying your intentions into the universe. In your cauldron, light a charcoal disc and add the following:

Orange essential oil
Lavender
Sage
Tulsi

You can burn this before working on a creative project, or during. It smells divine and will encourage a flow of ideas, inspiration, and creativity.

Wednesdays are also good for healing, learning, legal issues, signing contracts, wisdom witch-work, writing, and magic with music. Correspondences for Wednesday include dill, lavender, lapis lazuli, and agate.

Thursday

Thursdays are often connected with Jupiter, the planet of abundance and luck. Thursdays are a great day to practise gratuity and ask for what you want.

Our spell for Thursday is A Lucky Charm. And all you need is a green ribbon! Tie it somewhere on your outfit or bag for the day, and as you tie it say the following:

All I have is all I need, but today I make a plea
On this day, Jupiter, I ask that luck follows me

Wear your ribbon all day and remember to thank Jupiter each time you experience a lucky or blessed moment.

Thursdays are also good for friendship magic, wealth and money magic, waxing moon magic, career magic, manifesting, and self-improvement. Correspondences for Thursday include ginger, frankincense, garnet, and ruby.

Friday

Fridays are associated with Venus, the planet of love and beauty. This day is ideal for love spells and attracting romantic energies.

Our spell for Friday is – of course – A Love Spell. Grab your favourite piece of jewellery and some rose essential oil. In the morning, when you’re getting ready for the day, place a drop of the oil on your finger and anoint your piece of jewellery with it.

Use whichever method you’re most comfortable with to channel energies of love into the jewellery. Whether you choose to attract love or enhance a love you already have is up to you. Just be specific when channelling the energy into the anointed piece.

Fridays are also good for glamour magic, partnerships, rituals of movement, entertainment career spells, harmonising, goddess meditations, and sex spells. Correspondences for Friday include mint, ylang ylang, rose quartz, and rhodonite.

Saturday

Saturdays are linked to Saturn and are considered a time for grounding and protection. This is the best day for warding, hexing, and baneful magic too.

Saturday is then, naturally, A Protection Spell. All you need is a small piece of paper, a pen and a black candle. On the piece of paper, draw a pentagram as a symbol of protection and warding. You can channel energies of protection into it if you’d like to give it some extra kick, but you don’t have to with this spell. Once you’re done, light the candle and burn the symbol to release its power and purpose into the universe.

Saturdays are also good for occult practices, legal issues, justice spells, karmic retribution, and transformation. Correspondences for Saturday include patchouli, comfrey, obsidian, and onyx.

Sunday

Sundays are associated with the Sun, representing vitality and joy. What better day to sprinkle some happiness into your life?

At last we have, A Spell for Happiness. This will not only attract some sunshine-happiness into your life, it will also help you connect with your inner child. Just pluck a fresh marigold from Mother Earth and begin to walk in a circle. As you walk, pluck the petals from the flower and say the following incantation:

In this circle of bliss, where intentions are spun
May happiness blossom, and sorrows be undone

Sundays are also good for masculine spells, healing, growth, truth spells, personal finances, and success spells. Correspondences for Sunday include rosemary, frankincense, amber, and sunstone.
