Mouths of Medusa: Quit Your Job

Dear Medusa

I really want to quit my job, but I’m scared to. How do I know when it’s the right time? The work is just so boring and doesn’t mean anything to me anymore, but I feel like I need to do what I like for a while. Do you think I can pull it off?

Medusa: When all you can see is trunk and bark, the path ahead will always look meek and feeble. Looking down at your trudging feet only brings misery if your pace doesn’t change with the terrain. You cannot move swiftly in bloodied, stubborn bandages. Look up! Look up! Above the thick vines is a vast sky, still empty of your own blessed potential. There is space for you yet, child. The horizon waits.
