Friendship Candle Spell
Try this cute and quick spell to strengthen a friendship, or forge a new one.
What you’ll need:
- A pink candle (one with a quick burn time is great for spells like these)
- A needle or a toothpick (or your athame if you have a steady hand!)
- An anointing oil: geranium, chamomile, rosemary or gardenia are great for friendship spells
The Spell:
Carve both yours and your friend’s zodiac sign into the candle then anoint it with your chosen oil.
Light the candle and say the following invocation:
To [Friend’s Name] and I, our signs align,
In friendships light we’ll forever shine,
Through the stars and the flame our souls entwine,
A bond that lasts, a bond divine.
As this candle burns strong and bright,
Our friendship grows, reaching new heights,
May laughter, trust, and joy unite,
Any challenge we face, we stand upright.
With love and care our spirits mend,
This sacred bond we now extend,
By the power of friendship’s art,
Our connection strengthens from the heart.
Focus on the flame and allow yourself to be lulled into a meditative state as the candle burns down. Let it go out naturally if it’s possible to do so (if not, don’t worry! Blow it out with love when you need to).

- You can do this with your friend or on your own – just be sure you have consent! You can also do this with more than one friend
- Fire safety when working with candles is super important. Always be mindful when doing candle magic!
